The following is a brief overview on ending treatment. For more information, please consult the websites listed on our organizations page.

For most women, this is a very scary time. The treatment you were used to receiving offered a sense of security, a sort of safety net. And now that it's over, you feel vulnerable. You're probably anxious and riddled with questions of doubt. What do I do now? Shouldn't I be doing something? When do I get to see my doctor again? What if my cancer comes back?

Concerns about a recurrence are natural. It will probably always be in the back of your mind somewhere but it is important that you move on with life.

There are things you can do to continue living a long healthy life. Click here to find out more.

And don't forget about support. Many women find that the network of family and friends that got them through the battle of breast cancer have trouble understanding the difficulties they may be facing after treatment. Sometimes the world expects you to feel great now that it's over. This may be a great time to talk to someone who is going through the same things you are. A list of support groups is listed here.
